Psalm 32:1-2 Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord does not impute iniquity; and in whose Spirit there is no guile / deceit.
The Lord began having me read this Psalm a while ago. I would read it out loud in the King James version and new King James version. In the King James version it says guile and New King James version deceit. I have been praying about speaking truth. I wasn’t sure what guile was really so I looked it up. I found these meanings: cunning, craftiness, slyness, deceit. I asked “Lord do I do this?” The answer was “yes.” The way we complain to someone to get something we want or hint at something to get someone to do it. If we really think about it we could come up with quite a few words and wiles we use to get what we want or to get others to do things we want. I noted the ones the Lord brought to my thoughts and prayed “Lord I need You to help me change this it is a big habit again Lord fix me.” So I asked “how do I do this?” God points out a dark spot it is time to change it. The answer was simple “ask for what you want.”
Lord I thank You for Your word that is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. You know all things. Lord You gave me Your word for my benefit. You inspired every word. It is to my benefit that I know it. Thank You for guiding me with Your eye upon me and with Your Holy Spirit and with long suffering in leading me to understand. Lord I would like to have this part of me fixed instantly since I know You can but I also know Your ways are higher than my ways so I look forward to seeing the great improvement in me in this area. I love that You love me. Thank You that I am now able to except Your correction with excitement in knowing You Lord are the God who sees me and knows me.
Blessed be the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
Psalm 119:133 Direct my steps by Your word and let no iniquity have dominion over me. In Jesus name amen
The song My Revival by Lauren Daigle came to mind in this time as well.
