God’s word tells us to ask, seek, knock and we will receive. What and when do we ask? God’s word says to trust Him. Do we ask and then go on with our own plans as if He will not answer? We read these words of scripture but do we let them change our minds, our thinking, our hearts, and our ways?
Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; IN ALL YOUR WAYS ACKNOWLEDGE HIM AND HE SHALL DIRECT YOUR PATHS.
1 Thessalonians 5:17 pray without ceasing
Hebrews 12:1-2 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
The world exclaims, hate this one, hate this group, or this people or person. Jesus, God the Father says, “Love others as I have loved you.” Choose this day whom you will follow.
