How often do we decide that our prayers are not being answered because God isn’t doing things the way we believe they are supposed to be? Because what is happening does not line up with what we have been told or believed? How often do we complain and try to do it our way anyway as if God just isn’t listening? Do we remember we are His creation and not the other way around?
Philippians 4:6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God;
Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your path.
Isaiah 45:5-7 ‘I am the Lord, and there is no other, there is no God besides Me. I will gird you, though you have not known Me; That they may know from the rising of the sun to its setting that there is none besides Me. I am the Lord, and there is no other; I form the light and create darkness. I make peace and create calamity; I the Lord, do all these things.
Lord, I am so thankful You are God. You created and know the ending from the beginning and every thing in between. Blessed be our Great God! amen
