Blackness:

Jesus never let the blackness of the pharisees and the sadducees soul enter His soul. We see hate, racism, division, injustice and greed in the headlines and even in those around us today. Jesus sees our souls. Jesus is compassionate because He knows the pain that having these things in our souls causes us. “This is the way walk in it;” God gave us the way, His beautiful word and commandments to live in peace and goodness. What if we hold on and walk in Jesus truth? To love God and Jesus means to obey His word, His commandments and walk in it.

Love your neighbor! Love your enemies! Love one another! Do good!

John14:15 If you love Me keep My commandments.

Proverbs 4:23 Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.

Titus 3:9-11 But avoid foolish disputes, genealogies, contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and useless. Reject a divisive man after the first and second admonition, knowing that such a person is warped and sinning, being self condemned.

Lord, break our hearts for what breaks Yours.

I am God's work in progress. God's word says "be holy as I am holy." The only way to accomplish this is to turn our lives over to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
