God tells us what is good. God tells us what will come if we choose not to obey what is good and right. God is merciful, yet our actions have consequences. God will forgive if we confess our wrongs and turn from them. We confess our wrongs so we know and realize what they are, what we are turning away from. God gives warnings but consequences progress when we reject those warnings.

2 Chronicles 7:14 If MY people who are called by MY name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
Choose this day whom you will follow. Study to know the one to follow our Savior! Jesus always did what pleased the Father.
