Are we building or tearing down? Will we build a boat in the desert or walk away?
Mark 16:15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.”
Jesus said to preach the good news, the gospel! Jesus didn’t say tell them all their sins and beat them down.
John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
Are we building for Jesus or satan?
Revelation 12:10 Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.”
Should we build for Jesus by our testimony?
1 Peter 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your heart, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear.
Are we builders or Judges?
John 16:8 And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgement.
When I prayed for a closer walk with Jesus, the Holy Spirit began the good work in me of cleaning out sin and drawing me to God’s word for correction.
Will we build with our testimonies and let God our Judge do what God does so well? Will we bear the fruits that we are intended to bear for Jesus?
John 15:16-17 You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you. These things I command you, that you love one another.
Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
Galatians 6:9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
What will we choose? Will we build for God’s kingdom even in the desert?
Lord, Your word is a light and a lamp to our path, in Jesus name let Your truth shine brightly.
