Where did God call you from? What was your life like when God called you? God’s calling is not only for this one or that one. God’s calling is not only for the righteous, the sinner, the rich, the poor, the educated, the uneducated, the white, the black, the Jew or the gentile.
When God called Abram he was a pagan, an idol worshiper. Isaac was a lier, Jacob was a deceiver, Joseph was a dreamer, all of Israel were backsliders, Rehab was a prostitute, Ruth was a moabite, the disciples were fisherman, Paul was a pharisee and highly educated and had the status of a roman citizen, and Jesus is the Son of God.
What do they have in common? Many were in Jesus family tree (See Matthew 1), and many were called by Jesus to follow Him.
Again where were you when Jesus called you?
Ezekiel 11:19-20 Then I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within them, and take the stony heart out of their flesh, and give them a heart of flesh that they may walk in My statutes and keep My judgements and do them; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God.
1 Corinthians 6:11 And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of God.
He who is without sin cast the first stone.
