Does Jesus still care for His sheep? Does Jesus still care for the hurting? Would Jesus give His life for us all if He would not continue caring for those He gave His life for? How much more should we care for all people?
Luke 13:34 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather her brood under My wings, but you were not willing.
Psalm 147:3 He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
In the last several years we have seen much suffering and not many of us have gone untouched by it. Covid took many moms, dads, children and others we cared for. Covid has left many struggling with lingering health problems. The wars, and natural disasters effecting many across the world. Do we wonder, “Jesus where are You?” There is none on this earth that has not struggled with something. We come into this world and the struggle begins. We learn to walk, talk, and there are new steps all along the way. One thing never changes.
Malachi 3:6 For I am the Lord, I do not change; Therefore you are not consumed O sons of Jacob.
Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
Luke 19:10 For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.
Psalm 50:12 If I were hungry I would not tell you; For the world is Mine, and all its fulness.
Yet the great God tells us:
John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
1 Peter 5:6-7 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for he cares for you.
Casting all our fear, hurt, anger, pain, and struggle with believing God can take all. Will we look to the One true God that can handle all things? Blaming others does it really get results? Are any of us really without blame? God has the answers. Are we listening? Will we listen?
Lord, I am thankful You know all things and You, Lord are merciful with Your sheep. You, Lord search for the one and once that one was me. Lord, keep me from wondering off. In Jesus name amen.
