Change?

Joel 2:13 So rend your hearts and not your garments, and return to the Lord your God. For He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness; and He relents from doing harm.

God changes the world by changing me. God changes the world by changing each and every one of us. God is a personal God we see that throughout His word. We don’t change by putting a fish on our car, putting tattoos of crosses or scripture on our bodies, wearing clothes with crosses or Jesus name all over them, wearing jewelry of crosses and such. These thing do not show others how God has touched our lives and changed our hearts; sometimes we show the devil while wearing those things that scream to the world we are supposed to be followers of Jesus Christ. God changes our hearts, our minds, the way we think about ourselves and others.

1 Peter 2:12 Having your conduct honorable among the gentiles that when they speak against you as evil doers, they may by your good works which they observe, glorify God in the day of visitation.

Lord we thank You for Your word for Your Holy Spirit. Rend our hearts, protect our minds, set a guard at the door to our lips. Thank You we know You will complete the good work You have begun in each of us. Lord, it is exciting to know You meet each of us right where we are and You treat each of us as Your own child. Help us to hear, listen, and obey for all Your ways are good and lead us to life. In Jesus name amen.

I am God's work in progress. God's word says "be holy as I am holy." The only way to accomplish this is to turn our lives over to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I have found that this is a learning process but begins with a real desire to know Him. My prayer is Lord keep me on your paths of righteousness bringing glory and honor to your name.
