Proverbs 12:26 The righteous should choose his friends carefully, for the way of the wicked leads them astray.
Proverbs 1:15 My son, do not walk in the way with them, keep your foot from their path;
Bad choices we have all made them. Good choices we have all made them. Remember a bad choice you made, then a good choice you made. Do you remember how you felt after each choice? Do you remember the consequences of the bad choice and of the good choice? It is hard to make the right choice when someone lies to you. There is someone we can always trust our Father, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, but we have to have a relationship with them. The Holy Spirit lives within every believer; a friend closer than any other. Still we need to know God’s word and take in all the wisdom He has already given us.
Thank You Lord, for wisdom already given and wisdom to come. Open our hearts and minds to receive. In Jesus name amen.
Matthew 7:15-16 Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles?
In other words do they produce the fruit of the Spirit; love, joy, peace, gentleness, goodness, kindness, faithfulness, self control, patience. Our measuring system. No we aren’t perfect but God’s people are always working towards these because the Holy Spirit is changing us. Thank You Lord for Your perfect Holy Spirit and thank You Holy Spirit and Thank You Jesus for Your Holy Spirit takes what is Yours and gives to us.
