Climate Change:
What does God say about it? Let’s see.
Genesis 1:1-3 In the beginning “God created” (not man) the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was without form, and void: and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. 3 God said, “Let their be light” and there was light.
John 1:1-4 In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 all things were made through Him and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was LIFE, and the LIFE was the light of man.
Psalm 50:9-12 I will not take a bull from your house nor goats out of your folds. 10 For EVERY beast of the forest IS MINE and the cattle on a thousand hills. 11 I know all the birds of the mountains and the wild beasts of the field ARE MINE. 12 If I were hungry I would not tell you; for the world IS MINE and all its fullness.
Luke 12:24 Consider the ravens for they neither sow nor reap, which have neither storehouse nor barn; and yet God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds.
All things belong to God! He has graciously given them to us for a season.
How do you treat this earth that He gave for you to live on?
How do you treat the body He breathed life into?
How do you treat the things God has given to you?
If you borrow from a friend do you take good care of that which you borrowed?
Lord Jesus I come to you today to thank You for all You have provided for me. The beauty of Your earth for me to enjoy. The earth that brings forth as you commanded for sustain these bodies You gave us by food and water. Thank You for the friends and family You have given us for support and working together. Most of all thank You for Your Son Jesus Christ who came and died for our sins that we may have eternal life.
In Jesus name Lord I ask Your forgiveness for my waste and abuse of those things You have put here for my use. Those things which I do not own but are a gift from above. For every good and perfect gift comes down from You in whom there is no variances or shifting of shadows. Lord please keep working with me to improve in this area. Lead me and guide me with your eye upon me at all times.
To You be the glory and honor for You alone are worthy to be praised.
