Conspiracy Theories?

Should we not call this what it is?

Exodus 20:16 You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.

There is nothing new under the sun. Man’s fear still drives him even though God says, “do not fear.” There is many examples of man’s fear through out the Bible. Man’s fear of losing power. Here today gone tomorrow. We are to dwell in the land and do good. If we say we know Jesus we ought to walk as He walked.

John 14:15 If you love Me keep My commandments.

Nehemiah 6:5-9 Then Sanballat sent his servant to me as before, the fifth time, with an open letter in his hand. In it was written: It is reported among nations, and Geshem says that you plan to rebel; therefore, according to these rumors, you are rebuilding the wall, that you may be king. And you have also appointed prophets to proclaim concerning you at Jerusalem, saying, “There is a king in Judah!” Now these matters will be reported to the king. So come let us consult together. Then I sent to him saying, “No such things as you say are being done, but you invent them in your own heart.” For they all were trying to make us afraid, saying, “Their hands will be weakened in the work, and it will not be done.” Now therefore, O God, strengthen my hands.”

Proverbs 29:11 A fool vents all his feelings, But a wise man holds them back.

Proverbs 6:16-19 These six things the Lord hates, Yes seven are an abomination to Him: A proud look, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that are swift in running to evil, a false witness who speaks lies, and one who sows discord among brethren.

How often do we repeat what we see or hear from social media, from talk shows, or from friends? Do we have the facts? Does God condone repeating gossip or other peoples business? Repeating a lie is still lying.

2 Corinthians 6:17 Therefore “Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch the unclean, and I will receive you.”

Do we remember, do we ponder all Jesus taught? Are we letting ourselves be tossed to and fro? Are we bearing the fruit of the Spirit?

I am God's work in progress. God's word says "be holy as I am holy." The only way to accomplish this is to turn our lives over to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I have found that this is a learning process but begins with a real desire to know Him. My prayer is Lord keep me on your paths of righteousness bringing glory and honor to your name.
