Jesus paid the cost for us all. If we choose to tell others how they have to live their lives, what they can and cannot do or make choices for them should we not then have the responsibility of paying the cost of taking care of them? God promised His people that if they obeyed His commandments He would take care of them.
Deuteronomy 28:1-2 Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, then the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and over take you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God.
Matthew 6:26 Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into the barn yet your Heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
Matthew 6:30 Now if God so clothes the grass of the field which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you O you of little faith?
All of God’s care and blessings follow for His people who keep His commandments. If we make choices for another and put ourselves in the place of God should we not take care and responsibility of all their needs? Who are we to judge another? Are we sinless? Do we perfectly keep God’s commandments?
John 8:7 So when they continued asking Him, He raised Himself up and said, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.”
Proverbs 26:17 He who passes by and meddles in a quarrel not his own is like one who takes a dog by the ears.
Matthew 7:1-4 Judge not, that you be not judged. For with what judgement you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye?
Only God the Father, Jesus, and Holy Spirit know each and every one perfectly and completely. Should we leave the judging of another to Jesus our King?
Love covers a multitude of sins. God is love.
