Creation?

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

God created all the beauty of this planet we call earth that revolves around a large ball of gas that we call the sun. God designed it all to work in harmony to sustain man and all He created. Everything needs clean air, clean water, and clean food. Without any one of these all living things start to die. When God created man He put him here to be a good steward of all He created.

Genesis 1:26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our own image, according to Our likeness; Let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing.

If God lent us all these things should we not take care of them? Should our leaders not be more concerned about working together for the people, for God’s creation?

Abraham lived among pagans. He lived in peace among them! Among them he was known as prince among men and God called him friend!

Genesis 23:4-6 I am a foreigner and visitor among you. Give me property for a burial place among you, that I may bury my dead out of my sight. And the sons of Heth answered Abraham, saying to him, “Hear us, my lord: You are a mighty prince among us; bury your dead in the choicest of our burial places. None of us will withhold from you his burial place, that you may bury your dead.

Isaiah 41:8 “But you, Israel are my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the descendants of Abraham My friend.”

God called us to to obey His commandments and gave us direction in how to do it. Jesus called us to love our enemies, giving them food if they are hungry and water if thirsty and God said we are to help them not passing by when we see them in their trouble.

John 14:15 If you love Me keep My commandments.

Can we be a separate people by obeying God’s commandments?

1 Timothy 2:1-3 Therefore I exhort you first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and come to the knowledge of truth.

Matthew 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called the sons of God.

Can we stand on the solid rock, pray and leave the details to God? Many times my prayers have been answered not in the way I imagined but always better. Can we let go and wait to see God’s glory free of judgement?

Psalm 119:105 Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.

Ephesians 3:20-21 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen

Blessed be our Lord, and Savior full of love, grace, mercy, and forgiveness. Thy will be done on earth as in heaven.

I am God's work in progress. God's word says "be holy as I am holy." The only way to accomplish this is to turn our lives over to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I have found that this is a learning process but begins with a real desire to know Him. My prayer is Lord keep me on your paths of righteousness bringing glory and honor to your name.
