What does Jesus say about division?
Matthew 12:25 But Jesus knew their thoughts, and said to them: “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand.”
Will we let man’s words tear us apart? Will we follow Jesus way? Do we know Jesus way?
Galatians 5:14-15 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. But if you bite and devour one another, beware lest you be consumed by one another!
One of Jesus warnings? Are we really one nation under God?
Philippines 6:6 Be anxious for nothing, but by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.
2 Timothy 2:23 But avoid foolish and ignorant disputes, knowing they generate strife.
1 Timothy 2:1-4 Therefore I exert first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings, and ALL who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. FOR this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior. Who desires all men to be saved and come to the knowledge of truth.
Will we call on our Savior? Will call on God our Father the creator of all things? Will we join together in reaching the One who owns all things? The One who hears our faithful cries? Will we turn and keep Jesus way?
John 14:15 If you love Me keep My commandments.
Psalm 50:12 If I were hungry, I would not tell you; for the world is Mine and all its fullness.
Psalm 50:14-15 Offer thanksgiving, and pay your vows to the Most High. Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.
