Do I Look Like Christ:
With all the news and world view on who we should be and what we should believe in are we listening more to the world or to what God says we should look like?
Matthew 9:10-13 Now as it happened, as Jesus sat at the table in the house, that behold, many tax collectors and sinners came and sat down with Him and His disciples, 11 and when the Pharisees saw it they said to His disciples, “why does your Teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?” 12 When Jesus heard it He said to them ” those who are well have no need of a physician , but those who are sick 13 but go and learn what this means: ” I desire Mercy and not sacrifice. For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
Matthew 5:7 Blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy.
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.
1 Corinthians 5:9-13 I wrote to you in my epistle not to keep company with sexually immoral people, 10 yet I certainly did not mean with the sexually immoral people of this world, or with the covetous or extortioners, or idolaters, since then you would need to go out of the world. 11 but now I have written to you not to keep company with any one named brother, who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolaters, or a reviler, or drunkard, or an extortioner do not even eat with such a person. 12 for what have I to do with judging those also who are outside (of the world)? Do you not judge those inside? 13 but those who are outside (of the world) GOD judges. Therefore put away from yourselves the evil person (sinful brother).
Matthew 7:1-2 Judge not, that you be not judged. 2 for with what judgement you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.
Galatians 6: 1 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, you who are spiritual restore such a one in the spirit of meekness; considering yourself, lest you also be tempted.
1 Corinthians 6:18-20 18 Flee sexual immorality every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. 19 or do you not know that your own body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God and you are not your own. 20 for you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit which are Gods.
Thank You Lord for Your word and guiding hand upon me. Our Father You sent us Your Son Jesus Christ because You loved us all so much. You sent Him not to condemn the world but by believing in Him the world might be saved. Jesus came to seek and to save those who are lost. Lord You are the God who sees us, who sees our hearts. Lord in Jesus name help us to live in Your way that the world may see You in us. To remember all you have taught us about love. God is love! Jesus is the way, and the truth, and the life. Lord let my words be Your words that they may lead those separated from You by sin to You. My greatest pleasure is knowing You, Your love. Lord I am at a loss for words when I try to explain Your amazing love and presence. You are God alone! You are, You were, and You always will be Almighty King and Savior. Thank you Lord for every answered prayer. Through Your Son Jesus. AMEN
