2 Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
Do you really believe that Scripture? How often do we skip over a part of scripture or just skim it because we have decided it isn’t important or relevant to our lives? God inspired and caused these words to be written for our benefit so that we all may learn from history. Just because we don’t like it or think it is boring doesn’t change it.
Proverbs 15:31 The ear that hears the rebukes of life, will abide among the wise.
In other words learn from ours and others mistakes.
Leviticus 13:45-36 Now the leper on whom the sore is, his clothes shall be torn and his head bare; he shall cover the mustache, and cry unclean! Unclean! He shall be unclean. All the days he has the sore he shall be unclean. He is unclean, and he shall dwell alone; his dwelling shall be outside the camp.
This passage tells us how to deal with a contagious disease. To show others they are contagious they are to bear their head, tear their clothes and announce they are contagious. Then to protect others they are to cover their mouth, and isolate away from others. There is much more instruction on things that are still relevant to taking care of ourselves and others. Try also the book of Exodus, Judges, oh well work on searching for any question you have because God has the answer.
