Matthew 4:23-25 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people. Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-posessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them all.
Jesus never turned anyone away who came to Him! Jesus love and compassion drew multitudes to Him. As christians what are we using to draw others to Him?
Matthew 8:2-3 And behold, a leper came and worshiped Him saying, “Lord, if You are willing You can make me clean.” Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him saying I am willing; be cleansed.” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
Isaiah 1:18 “Come now, and let us reason together” says the Lord, “though your sins are like scarlet they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.”
James 1:20 For the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God.
There was a saying; you draw more flies with honey. When I said “Lord, I don’t like me fix me.” He gave me the most amazing presence of His love that I cannot describe. I just know that it was unconditional love. Then He began the process of bringing me into His goodness. How we treat others and how we behave by word and deed draws or repels people. Go make disciples of all the world. God is love.
John 13:35 By this all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
Lord, forgive us and lead and teach us to truly love others as You do and leave the rest to You. In Jesus name amen.
