Isaiah 53:2-3 For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant and as a root out of dry ground. He has no form or comeliness; and when we see Him there is no beauty that we should desire Him. He is despised and rejected by men a Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief and we hid as it were our faces from Him.
We are a visual people. The things we choose often have to appeal to us visually to consider it for the taking or purchase. I recently made a purchase of two bird houses. I was prompted by the Holy Spirit in this. I ended up buying one very plain but the advertisement was for its sturdiness and it cost a little more than the other one which was decorated and made to look pretty but was cheaper. I sent both of these and told the recipients to choose which one they would like. I was told by one recipient how beautiful the one was and how plain the other. Then the Lord started talking to me about how the choice was made. The things of the world are made beautiful to tempt us to buy into them but when we open the package we often find broken pieces, lies, hate, anger, resentment, envy, malice, and it isn’t what we really wanted after all.
James 2:6-7 But you have dishonored the poor man, Do not the rich oppress you and drag you into courts? Do they not blaspheme that noble name by which you are called?
James 2:8 if you fulfill the royal law according to scripture you shall love your neighbor as yourself.
1 Kings 19:11-13 Then He said “Go out, and stand on the mountain before the Lord” and behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind tore into the mountain and broke the rocks in pieces before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind, and after the wind an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake, and after the earthquake a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire, and after the fire a still small voice. So it was, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle and went out and stood in the entrance of the cave. Suddenly a voice came to him and said “what are you doing here Elijah.”

2 Corinthians 13:11 Finally, brethren rejoice, be made complete, be comforted, be like minded live in peace and the God of love and peace will be with you.
Zechariah 8:16 These are the things which you should do speak the truth to one another, judge with truth, and judgement for peace in your gates.
2 Peter 3:14 Therefore beloved since you look for these things be diligent to be found by Him in peace spotless and blameless.
2 Timothy 2:22 Now flee from youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.
John 10:10 The thief only comes to steal and to kill and to destroy; I have come that they may have life and have it abundantly.
Proverbs 6:16-19 These six things the Lord hates, yes seven are an abomination to Him. A proud look, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood. A heart that devises wicked plans, feet that are swift in running to evil. A false witness who speaks lies and one who sows discord among brethren.
Lord I thank You for Your guiding word. In our world things seem to be tilting to and fro. In Jesus name Lord help Your people see truth and seek peace. Please be a strong tower for your people in this time and to stay away from the worldly issues and be a separate people unto You.
