Yes, I have faith because I have seen God’s works in my life! I have seen and known His healing, His corrections, His counsel, His answers to my prayers, His leading to help me accomplish that which I prayed for. Him allowing me to see His hand and answers to my prayers to grow my faith in Him. I can give many examples of God’s works to my faith. I pray God opens all His peoples eyes to see His works in their lives. We have to keep walking in His ways. To know His ways we have to have read His word. Jesus fed the hungry, healed the sick, corrected those who lied or did not understand. Jesus wasn’t passive. He SHOWED us who the Father is.
James 2:14 What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him?
James 2:17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
James 2:20 But do you not know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?
James 2:22 Do you see that faith was working together with His works, and by works faith is made perfect?
John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world that He GAVE His only begotten Son, that whoever BELIEVES in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, BUT THAT THE WORLD THROUGH HIM MIGHT BE SAVED.
James 1:22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.
James 1:25 But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.
James 1:27 Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.
Lord, thank You so very much for Your word. Please lead us to know your word that we may be doers of it. Give us right discernment of Your word that we may know this is the way and to walk in it. In Jesus name. Amen
