James 1:27 Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: To visit orphans, and widows in their trouble, and keep oneself unspotted from the world.
Today I say thank you to Tony and Lisa Woods. They have taken in children not their own. They have loved them, taken them to church, fed them, seen to their education and physical needs of medical care, a home where they are safe, clothing and many of their wants. I have had the gift of watching them mostly on Facebook become beautiful adults creating lives for themselves. This is the kind of commitment most are not prepared to make. There are many children that are not so cared for. May our prayers turn to our Good Father for these orphans. That we have the social workers to watch out for them, that there are more loving safe homes for them that their needs may be met. May we be doers of God’s word. In Jesus name amen
