Who among us doesn’t like a compliment? A true honest compliment can be very encouraging and helpful. A true compliment can let us know we are doing our job correctly or let us know we are going in the right direction. Flattery is different it appeals to our pride. It is sometimes heaped on in an effort to get something from us or get us to do something that isn’t right and leads to destroy us. Flattery is another weed of the devil. If someone you know or don’t know is heaping on the flattery in a certain situation be cautious, be careful and back away.
