Proverbs 26:4-5 Do not answer a fool according to his folly, lest you also be like him. Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own eyes.
In other words answer a foolish persons foolishness with truth. With truth there is nothing to hide and no need for the fifth.
Proverbs 12:19 The truthful lip shall be established forever, but a lying tongue is but for a moment.
Proverbs 12:22 Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, But those who deal truthfully are His delight.
Proverbs 26:27 Whoever digs a pit will fall into it, and he who rolls a stone will have it roll back on him.
Isaiah 40:31 But those who wait on the Lord shall gain new strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles. They shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.
The truth steals a lies thunder.
