Over two hundred years ago men from many different nations came together; again came together to put the Constitution of the United States together. They did a pretty good job. They guaranteed the citizens of this country Freedom of Religion! God gave these men wisdom to put this together. How many do you think around this world was praying for a nation where they have freedom of religion? This also means all people in this country have this same freedom. We are free to believe in God the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit! We have this gift; yet we seem to not believe it. Do we also want freedom from persecution, tribulation, struggles, problems, or from the very people we are to love and pray for to receive the love of Jesus?
Mark 16:15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.”
John 16:33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In this world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.
John 15:20 Remember the word that I said to you, “A servant is not greater than his master: If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept my word, they will keep yours also.'”
I worship You Lord, for such a wonderful gift of freedom of religion!
John 14:15 If you love Me keep My commandments.
1 Peter 2:11-12 Beloved, I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul, having your conduct honorable among the gentiles, that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works which they observe, glorify God in the day of visitation.
Do we take every thought captive? Do we discern those things that others say to us or just quickly accept? Whom are we listening to?
Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in ALL your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.
2 Timothy 3:16 ALL scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
The wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God.
Lord, I am thankful for your gift to believe and worship You in this country! Forgive me for not praising You and acknowledging You for this gift. Lead us in all Your ways!
