Do we believe God is in some distant place we call heaven?
John 14:31 Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him and We will come and make Our home with him.”
John12:26 If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, Him My Father will honor.
1 Corinthians 3:16-17 Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.
Jeremiah 31:33 But this covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.
Jeremiah 32:38 They shall be My people, and I will be their God.
Ezekiel 37:26-27 Moreover, I will make My covenant of peace with them, and it shall be an everlasting covenant with them; I will establish them and multiply them, and I will set My sanctuary in their midst forevermore. My tabernacle also shall be with them; indeed I will be their God, and they shall be My people.
2 Corinthians 6:16 And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they shall be My people.”
Do we believe we are not enough? We aren’t good enough on our own. Thank God that is not a requirement.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
John 6:29 Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”
John14:15 If you love Me keep My commandments.
Is God with us?
Revelation 21:3 And I heard a loud voice saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God.
