The Word of God says we are ALL created in His image. The Word of God says He created all heaven and earth and all things in the heavens and the earth. God gave all He created to us to be good stewards of His creation. God gave us His Word, His wisdom, His teaching, His only begotten Son, His Holy Spirit, His love, mercy, and forgiveness. God’s ways lead to life. Are we listening? I have been watching the show, Touched By An Angel. There are some good lessons in the show as well as The Waltons. Jesus said that in this world there would be tribulation but to be of good cheer the He has overcome the world. I find it hard to be of good cheer with all that is going on in God’s world right now; do you? As I pray for those I love who are friends and family and those things I hear about , I do struggle for I know God can do all things. God gave us a freedom to choose and a teaching of right and wrong. I have made some very bad choices in my life but the best choice I made was when I prayed, “Lord I don’t like me fix me.” It was the most beautiful presence that I could only describe as unconditional love. Then came the teaching and correction. More mistakes, wrong directions, feeling as if my life was falling apart, but then came understanding, renewal, hope, and yes fear of falling and failing again. Some of my most favorite moments are when by God’s Spirit He uses me to speak of His wonders and teaching. I want to listen to God’s correction always for in His correction is love.
Proverbs 3:11-12 My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord, nor detest His correction; for whom the Lord loves He corrects, just as a Father the son in whom he delights.
When God created man He delighted in him, in what He had created.
Proverbs 8:31 Rejoicing in His inhabited world, and my delight was with the sons of men.
It was not a surprise to God that man strayed and did evil. God sent His Son not to condemn the world but that it might be saved through Him. True love.
James 3:8-10 But no man can tame the tongue. It is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. With it we curse men, who have been made in the similitude of God. Out of the same mouth come blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so.
Romans 13:10 Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the Law.
