There is no kingdom where there is no people. What does God’s word say about God’s kingdom?
Matthew 13:36-38 Then Jesus sent the multitudes away and went into the house. And His disciples came to Him, saying, “Explain to us the parable of the tares in the field.” He answered and said to them: “He who sows good seed is the Son of Man. The field is the world, the good seeds are the sons of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the wicked one.”
God’s word is the seed that brings people into His kingdom.
1 Corinthians 12:27 Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually.
1 Corinthians 12:12-14 For the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also in Christ. For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body-whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. For in fact the body is not one member but many.
John 12:30-31 Jesus answered and said, “this voice did not come because of Me, but for your sake. Now is the judgement of this world; now the ruler of this world will be cast out. And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself.”
John 14:1-3 Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go to prepare a place for you I will come again and receive you to Myself that where I am you may be also.
Those who believe in Jesus Christ the Son of God are God’s kingdom. Jesus is our King and He tells us to “keep His commandments if we love Him.” We are to love Him by loving our neighbors, each other, our enemies, the strangers, and to do good. When we love we draw others to Jesus, to God’s kingdom. God writes His truth on the table of our hearts. He is God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit, God with us. He did not leave us orphans.
Hebrews 10:12-14 But this Man, after He had offered up sacrifice for sins forever sat down at the right hand of God, From that time waiting till His enemies are made His footstool. For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.
Hebrews 11:16 But now they desire a better, that is a heavenly country. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them.
