Proverbs 14:15-16 The simple believes every word, but the prudent considers well his steps. A wise man fears and departs from evil, but a fool rages and is self confident.
In my work I had to take a human trafficking course. It was very heart wrenching. It opened my eyes to what had happened to me once. Thank God He worked with my family and watched over me. Those who would do you harm don’t always come at you with guns and knives. They get to know you. All your likes, dislikes, needs, dream, hurts, and where you are most vulnerable. This is used to control you. They get you away from all who might speak truth to you. They tell you they are the only one who you can trust and they will take care of you. This comes with conditions. Be loyal to them only and do what they say and if you don’t they use their arsenal of information they have collected from you against you. This is also how cults work. It is brain washing. God rescued me. The experience I had opened my eyes to the evil. The class I took, helped me understand what it was. It breaks my heart for those who are caught in this kind of net this kind of lie. Everyone wants to be loved, acknowledged, safety, and kindness. I finally cried out one day, “Lord how do I get myself into such a messes.” He said one word, “Gullible.” I cried, “Lord I don’t want to be gullible any more.”
Proverbs 4:5 Get wisdom! Get understanding! Do not forget, nor turn away from the words of My mouth.
Proverbs 18:12 Before destruction the heart of a man is haughty and before honor is humility.
Proverbs 16:19 Better to be of a humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud.
Lord, thank You for Your love and rescue of so many of us. Lord, I am blessed that in all my mistakes and experiences You have given me empathy, compassion, understanding and a desire to help those who have been hurt by this evil. Lord, lead us to truth and righteousness. Open our eyes, our ears, to hear Your leading and Your warning and to listen. To know You will only lead us according to Your word and to flee from evil. Give us a strong desire to know Your Word and to divine it rightly. In Jesus name amen
