Gullible?

Proverbs 14:15 The simple believes every word, but the prudent considers well his steps.

In previous writing I wrote there was a time I asked the Lord how I got myself into troubles and He clearly answered “gullible” and I cried, “Lord I don’t want to be gullible any more.” Yes, I know gullible. I still pray against it. God sent me to His word.

It breaks my heart that so many are being lead astray by those who appeal to christian values only to make a profit or get elected. The vaccine for covid is free, it is proven to work. Yes we are a year into the vaccine and it helps the same way the flu vaccine helps. Masks keep us from spreading our germs to others. Politicians and others goad us so that we buy what they are selling. They don’t want you to believe in a vaccine that is free but they will sell you a horse dewormer for great sums of money. The devil tempted Jesus to prove Himself the Son of God. We do not need to prove our faith to the world! Our faith is in our Savior Jesus. We are to get wisdom and pray. Talk to your doctor; the one you go to when you feel sick! Proverbs starts with the words to get wisdom!

Proverbs 1:3-5 To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, judgement, and equity; To give prudence to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion. A wise man will hear and increase learning, and a man of understanding will attain counsel.

Proverbs 15:31 The ear that hears the rebukes of life will abide among the wise.

Lord, I thank You for Your Word and Your mercy. Please lead Your people by Your word in the truth of it. Help us to search it for Your wisdom and guidance. Give us the gift of discerning it in Your truth. In Jesus name amen

I am God's work in progress. God's word says "be holy as I am holy." The only way to accomplish this is to turn our lives over to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I have found that this is a learning process but begins with a real desire to know Him. My prayer is Lord keep me on your paths of righteousness bringing glory and honor to your name.
