Have We?

Psalm 19:10-11 With my whole heart I have sought You; Oh let me not wonder from Your commandments! Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You.

Zechariah 4:6 So he answered and said to me: This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit:’ says the Lord of hosts.

Zephaniah 2:3 Seek the Lord, all you meek of the earth, who have upheld His justice. Seek righteousness, seek humility. It may be that you will be hidden in the day of the Lord’s anger.

Matthew 5:3-9 Blessed are the poor in spirit (The humble), for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted; (those who mourn their sin and repent and turn from it). Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth; (those who know their need of a Savior and follow Jesus). Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled; (those who seek God and keep His commandments will not be left hungry). Blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy; (remember where Jesus rescued us from for we are all sinners). Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God; (Seek Him in truth and know God is God and we are to look to Him for the way). Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called sons of God; (See Proverbs 6:16-19)

Have we put God on the throne of our lives? Jesus said: ‘If you love Me keep My commandments.’ Love God, Love others. Will we be a separate people? What does the world see in us? Not by might nor by power but by the Holy Spirit of our God. Are we leaning on the everlasting ARM?

I am God's work in progress. God's word says "be holy as I am holy." The only way to accomplish this is to turn our lives over to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I have found that this is a learning process but begins with a real desire to know Him. My prayer is Lord keep me on your paths of righteousness bringing glory and honor to your name.
