What does a hero look like? Who comes to mind as a hero? Do you think of those who quietly go about loving, and helping those in need? Maybe that mom or dad who works so hard to love, protect, feed and shelter their children? Maybe those who do their best to help the sick? Really, who do you think of as a hero? Do you think of our Savior Jesus? Jesus, who healed all who came to Him without asking where they were from. Jesus, who fed the thousands and thousands without separating them out by the way they looked. Jesus, who forgave and forgives all our sins. Do we emulate our Hero in words and actions? Who is our hero really?
John 14:15 If you love Me keep My commandments.
1 John 2:6 He who says he abides in Him ought to himself also to walk just as He walked.
1 John 2:18 My little children, let us not love in word or tongue, but in deed and in truth.
You will know them by their fruits!
1 John 4:11-12 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us.
