Hidden?

We all have things we don’t want others to know; mostly because we fear judgement. God’s word tells us there is nothing hidden from God and those things that are hidden will be revealed. There is much coming to light. Will we repent and turn? God brings things to light for that very reason. God revealed and pointed out the sins of His people so they could turn and repent before their consequences brought death and destruction. God is merciful and exposes sin and gives warnings. Are we listening?

Daniel 9:8 O Lord, to us belongs shame of face, to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, because we have sinned against You.

Matthew 10:26 Therefore do not fear them. For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known.

Mark 4:22 For there is nothing hidden which will not be revealed, nor has anything been kept secret but that it should come to light.

We can try to hide, hate, racism, greed, and indifference to the poor but they still begin to leak out until the truth is made clear.

Luke 8:17 Beware of the leaven of the pharisees, which is hypocrisy. For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known. Therefore whatever you have spoken in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have spoken in the ear in the inner rooms will be proclaimed on the housetops.

Proverbs 4:23 Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.

Psalm 139:23-24 Search me, O God, and know my heart; try me, and know my anxieties; and see if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
