Are we watching our house? Are we keeping our house by keeping God’s commandments? Are we keeping watch over our bodies, our minds, God’s temple? The thief comes to kill, steal, and destroy.
Luke 12:39 But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into.
Proverbs 6:16-19 These six things the Lord hates, yes seven are an abomination to Him: a proud look, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that are swift in running to evil, a false witness that speaks lies, and one who sows discord among brethren.
John 14:15 If you love Me keep My commandments.
We are told to love our brothers in Christ and to love our enemies, and by example sinners; those whom Christ came to save. Jesus loved all, washing His enemies feet. Jesus is the great Physician! Will we watch our house?
Luke 12:40 Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.
