Isaiah 30:21 Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way walk in it,” whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left.
2 Timothy 2:15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
How are we to know a false teaching if we do not study the truth? Do we decide that this one sounds good? Or that sounds right? Or that makes me feel good?
2 Timothy 4:3-4 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.
Will we produce the fruit of the Spirit? Will we be tossed here and yon by what we hear? God’s wisdom surpasses all. Will we pray and ask, seek, and knock?
Lord, thank You for all the wisdom and direction You have given us. Thank you for Your Son Jesus who came to save us and expounded upon Your teaching for us. In Jesus name give all Your people a desire to know Your Word, Your wisdom that we may walk in it. Amen
