Matthew 5:3 Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are we that we know we need a Savior because our Creator is perfect and all the world belongs to Him alone. Our creator is so loving, so merciful, that He sent His only begotten Son that we might be saved and have eternal life.

Philippians 2:3-4 Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.

Proverbs 27:2 Let another praise you, and not your own mouth; A stranger, and not your own lips.

Proverbs 16:18 Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.

Psalm 131:1 Lord, my heart is not haughty, nor my eyes lofty. Neither do I concern myself with great matters, nor things too profound for me.

Matthew 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called sons of God.

Romans 12:18 If it is possible, as much as depends on you live peaceably with all men.

Please think on the next few verses. Let them sink in.

1 Peter 2:12 Having your conduct honorable among gentiles, that when they speak against you as evil doers, they may, by your good works which they observe, glorify God in the day of visitation.

1 Corinthians 5:12-13 For what do I have to do with judging those outside? Do you not judge those who are the inside? But those outside God judges! Therefore “put away from you the evil person.”

Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

My Bible study leader gave her testimony to us. She said she was visiting a cousin and she was so kind, nice, gentle, and loving that she asked her what it was about her that she wanted what she had. Her cousin said “Jesus.” Her cousin then followed up by sending her a Bible.

Lord, thank You for Your perfect word. Thank You that Your Son came and obeyed You perfectly in showing us You. Your love, mercy, gentleness, goodness, justness, lead the way for us in living this kind of life. Lord, in Jesus name help us to shine so that others see Your light in us and come to You.

Luke 6:46 “But why do you call Me Lord, Lord, and do not do the things which I say.”

I am God's work in progress. God's word says "be holy as I am holy." The only way to accomplish this is to turn our lives over to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I have found that this is a learning process but begins with a real desire to know Him. My prayer is Lord keep me on your paths of righteousness bringing glory and honor to your name.
