Do we try to bring God on to our level? We cannot comprehend who God truly is. Yet we think to tell Him how to run His creation. He has given us directions and He is merciful, and long-suffering with His creation. My learning curve hasn’t been the best so I am very thankful for that mercy and his rescue of me. We look out at the world and we pray but do we pray, “Lord Your will be done in earth as it is in heaven.?” Do we strive to trust in all His directions and follow them?
Jeremiah 18:5-6 Then the word of the Lord came to me saying: “O house of Israel, can I not do with you as the potter?” says the Lord. “Look as the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are you in My hand, O house of Israel!”
Isaiah 45:9 “Woe to him who strives with his Maker! Let the potsherds strive with the potsherds of the earth! Shall clay say to him who forms it, ‘What are you making?’ Or shall your handiwork say, ‘He has no hands’?
Isaiah 55:8-9 For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways, says the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.
Psalm 50:12 If I were hungry I would not tell you, for the world is Mine, and all its fulness.
