Information?

Down through history different periods or ages have been named. There was the iron age, Gold, silver, steel, etc.. This time is the age of information. We are being bombarded with so much information we can’t digest it or tell the truth from a lie or a scam. What if we as believers remembered the way, the truth, and the life? Jesus gave us a perfect guide by the way He obeyed the Father and walked out the way of His Father. Will we search God’s word or will we feed our itching ears / eyes? What are we feeding our minds?

2 Timothy 4:2-5 Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all long suffering and teaching. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be be turned to fables. But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

2 Timothy 2:15-17 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, RIGHTLY dividing the word of truth. But shun profane babbling, for they will increase to more ungodliness. And their message will spread like cancer.

There are many who want us to click “follow” to follow their pages, their opinions. Who will we choose to follow? The Book of Matthew is a great place to start to follow the Savior of the world, Jesus the Son of God who obeyed the Father and laid down His life in love for us that we might be saved. God’s word is not a mystery but a guiding light that leads to life; even a better life on this earth God created.

I am God's work in progress. God's word says "be holy as I am holy." The only way to accomplish this is to turn our lives over to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
