Where do our itching ears get us?
2 Timothy 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers;
Matthew 24:38 For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.
God sent many prophets to warn the people of destruction and lies being told them yet they wanted to believe all was well. Sometimes the signs are clear but we choose to ignore them. God is merciful and relents from doing harm and punishment. God’s word is clear! If we love Jesus we will love our enemies, our neighbors, and the strangers among us because He loves them and has made it clear vengeance is God’s alone. Why? Because God is the reader of our hearts and only He knows us completely. Do not grieve the Holy Spirit; LISTEN to the Holy Spirit He will never go against God’s WORD.
