Is Jesus for sale? Do we purchase a lot of things with Jesus name splashed across it? Do we have Jesus bumper stickers? Do we live our lives in such a way that others see Jesus, His love in us? No matter what we wear, what we purchase that has Jesus name on it what matters is the way our behavior reflects Jesus love, peace, joy, goodness, kindness, faithfulness, and self control. Is Jesus for sale? Do we drive those away who would know Jesus because our behavior does not reflect Jesus?
John 14:15 If you love Me keep My commandments.
Do we have a right to tell an unbeliever the way they are living is wrong and they are going to hell? Does that not put us in the place of God? Only God knows the heart and only He can change and draw another to Him. We are blessed if God allows us to be a part of His gift to all. God’s commandments were given to His people! His people are to keep His commandments and be ready to give an account of the hope that lies within us. To teach in love what God has done in our lives. Where God brought us from. To love them that in the day God visits their hearts they want what we have! What do we have? Do we have God’s Love?
1 Peter 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear;
1 Peter 2:11-12 Beloved, I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul, having your conduct honorable among the gentiles, that when they speak against you as evildoers they may by your good works which they observe, glorify God in the day of visitation.
Will we be honorable and loving to all people? Will we be a light in a dark world for those perishing? Will we leave the judgement to the One true God who knows all things? God is love!
1 John 4:8 He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
