Justification?

How often do we look to others to justify our beliefs, opinions, actions? There are those who are angry that will push others until they are angry and react in the same angry manner they are acting so they feel justified in their actions. How are we to deal with angry people we might label as bullies? I am glad you asked because there are scriptures for that.

Proverbs 22:24-25 Make no friendship with an angry man, and with a furious man do not go, lest you learn his ways and set a snare for your soul.

Proverbs 26:17-20 He who passes by and meddles in a quarrel not his own is like one who takes a dog by the ears. Like a madman who deceives his neighbor, and says “I was only joking.” Where there is no wood, the fire goes out; and where there is no talebearer, strife ceases.

James 1:19-20 So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath, for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God.

Proverbs 29:11 A fool vents all his feelings, but a wise man holds them back.

The devil comes to steal, kill, and destroy. The devil wants to steal our peace, kill our love, and destroy our self-control. All these are fruit that the Holy Spirit gives us. Will we pray without ceasing for God’s guidance in all situations? It only takes a moment to say, “Jesus help me.” Jesus did not leave His people orphans. Let us not let the hate and anger steal from us what God has given.

James 1:17 Every good and perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.

God’s word is true. Let us seek truth.

I am God's work in progress. God's word says "be holy as I am holy." The only way to accomplish this is to turn our lives over to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I have found that this is a learning process but begins with a real desire to know Him. My prayer is Lord keep me on your paths of righteousness bringing glory and honor to your name.
