King?

Do we believe Jesus is now King? Do we believe Jesus now has all authority in heaven and earth? Are we looking for a future time that Jesus will rein? God with us? In Revelation 12 John is given a vision of Son of a woman caught up to heaven by God and a fight breaks out in heaven and satan and his angels are thrown out of heaven. God sent His only begotten Son that all who believe might be saved. Jesus, God’s only begotten son triumphed over satan, sin and death and rose to heaven to rein as King forever. Jesus is our meditator, Jesus is King.

Matthew 28: 18 And Jesus spoke to them saying, “ALL authority HAS BEEN given to Me in heaven and on earth.

Acts 1:9-11 Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come again in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.”

Revelation 12:9-11 So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the devil and satan, who deceives the world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ HAVE come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night has been cast down, and they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.”

Jesus is our triumphant King yet satan still is allowed to cause destruction on earth but God has perfect power over satan. Jesus fought satan with God’s word, “IT IS WRITTEN.” The devil has been allowed to cause pain and destruction through envy, lies, greed, hate, fear, he is the father of lies. We like dumb sheep can be led astray by these things. We can be persecuted even by those who say they believe because of false doctrine. We can be persecuted because of our own actions and words that don’t line up with God’s word. It is hard to be watchful at all times but we were not left alone. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth and guides, reminds us of God’s word, comforts us, and so much more. Jesus told his disciples if someone did not receive the gospel to shake off the dust and move on. Yet, we have still planted the seed and it is God who gives the increase. As the Spirit prompts we deliver Christ hope through our testimony and through our walk with God! Hold fast! We are not alone.

Romans 13:10 Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
