There have been many kingdoms and religions rise and fall and still one remains stead fast. Jesus’s kingdom is a never ending kingdom. Jesus birth, death, and resurrection ushered in His kingdom and has never ended nor will it ever end. God’s people are His kingdom/church. True believers in Jesus as King of kings, Lord of Lords, Savior of the whole world, Alpha and Omega, Beginning and End are His Kingdom. Jesus fought for us, died for us and lives forever more for us to fight for us because He loves us. Do we truly believe and follow our Savior? Do we love our neighbors, brothers, sisters, strangers, and enemies just as Jesus does? Jesus said, “Father forgive them for they know not what they do.” Jesus said, “If you love Me keep My commandments and take up your cross and FOLLOW ME.” Do we love in deeds or empty words?
Revelation 19:13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood and His name is called THE WORD OF GOD.
Revelation 19:16 And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: King of kings and Lord of Lords.
Luke 6:46 “But why do you call Me Lord, Lord, and not do the things which I say?”
1 John 2:3-6 Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He who says , I know Him and does not keep His commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever keeps His WORD, truly the LOVE of God is perfected in Him. By this we know that we are in Him. He who says he abides in Him ought to himself also walk just as He walked.
There are many who say, “I am a christian.” What fruit are we bearing? Does our fruit come from love, genuine caring? From the Love of God?
1 John 2:18 Little children, It is the last hour; and as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour.
2 Timothy 3:4-5 Traitors; headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away.
What fruit are we producing?
Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spoke to them saying, “All authority has been given Me in heaven and earth.”
Revelation 22:13 “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.”
Who are we following? God’s word is a sharp two edged sword to bring light to our darkness. Are we listening?
