The rich man who walked by Lazarus every day did not even acknowledge Lazarus and he laid at this rich man’s gate. There are those who are telling us those who need food assistance to feed their families are drug addicts, lazy, no good, and other such things. Ask any one who receives this assistance and they will tell you all about the applications and proof needed to sign up for this assistance. I would guess many of those saying these things have never even seen someone who needs this help or have never struggled to feed their family on minimum wage. Think about who is telling us these things and then look around at your own community. Our farmers, those loosing jobs to AI, corporations cutting their workforce because their profits are going down and the current economy. BE KIND, BE GENTLE, lend a hand if you can, pray without ceasing, and judge not least you be judged.
