Do we want a leader like Jesus or a leader like the pharisees and Judas wanted? The people believed their Messiah, their King would rescue them from the Roman rule. They were not expecting someone who would lay down His life so they may have eternal life with God. They were looking for something they could see. What are we looking for? Who are we looking for? God so loved the WORLD.

Matthew 20:27-28 And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave; just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.

What are we looking for? Are we looking to Jesus for guidance? Are we looking for our own desires? God is the reader of our hearts. Will we ask God to examine our hearts and minds and lead us in all we say and do?
