Let My Life Be The Proof:
Does my life look like You Lord? In Jesus name let my life be the proof of Your love.
Matthew 22:36-40 Teacher which is the great commandment in the law? 37 Jesus said to him “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind 38 This is the first and great commandment 39 and the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law of the Prophets.
Now we know the ten commandments. The first being we only have one God and Him only shall we serve / worship. To love God is to keep His commands and His commands are not burdensome. Remember the Sabbath and keep it holy or simply take the Sabbath to think about and be with the Lord your God to rest in Him. The others are about teaching us how to treat others. We are told; don’t steel, don’t kill, don’t covet what others have, don’t gossip or tell lies about others, don’t commit adultery, and honor our parents.
Isaiah 58:6-7 6 Is this not the fast I have chosen: To loose the bonds of the wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every chain? 7 Is it not to share your bread with the hungry, and that you bring to your house the poor who are cast out: when you see the naked, that you cover him, and not hide yourself from your own flesh?
James 1:27 Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and keep oneself unspotted from the world.
Proverbs 6:16-19 16 These six things the Lord hates, yes seven are an abomination to Him: 17 a proud look, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, 18) a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that are swift in running to evil, 19 a false witness who speaks lies, and one who sows discord among brothers.
Who is our neighbor?
Matthew 25:34-40
Then the King will say to those on His right hand, come you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35) for I was hungry and You gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in: I was naked and you clothed Me;. I was in prison and you came to Me. 37) Then the righteous will answer Him, saying Lord when did we see You hungry and feed You or thirsty and give You drink? 38) When did we see You a stranger and take You in or naked and clothe You? 39 or when did we see You sick or in prison and Come to You?
40 AND THE KING WILL ANSWER AND SAY TO THEM ; “ASSUREDLY I SAY TO YOU INASMUCH AS YOU DID IT TO ONE OF THE LEAST OF THESE MY BROTHERS YOU DID IT TO ME.
Lord I thank You for Your guiding hand upon me and for Your precious Son Jesus Christ who set the perfect example for us. Your Word Lord is a light to my path and a lamp to my feet. Your way Lord is perfect and truly brings joy to my life for I am free of the Law of sin and death. I am free to walk in Your light and love to bring glory and honor to Your name. I have Your peace which surpasses all human understanding. Lord I thank You for all Your precious gifts of love, gentleness, tenderness, patience, faithfulness, goodness, peace, and kindness even when my sin is great Your love is greater. Lord teach me to extend all of these gifts to others that I meet each day. You Lord have supplied my every need. Help me to see and meet others needs with a grateful heart toward You. That I may give to others what You have given to me.
In Jesus name , Amen
