Lighten The Load:

Acts 27:18 And because we were exceedingly tempest tossed the next day they lightened the ship. On the third day we threw the ships tackle overboard with our own hands.

We have lightened our load:

Gone are sports, hair dressers and nail salons, concerts, unnecessary travel from our families. What in your life have you found you don’t really need?

Matthew 22:36-40 Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said to him, “you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment, and the second is like it: you shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.”

Philippians 4:19-20 And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory. Now to our God and Father be glory forever and ever amen.

1 Timothy 6:6-10 Now godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out, and having food and clothing, with these we shall be content, but those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

1 Timothy 6:17-19 Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy. Let them do good, that they may be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share, storing up for themselves a good foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.

Thank You Lord for Your mercy and grace. As we wait in this time of uncertainty we ask You to open our eyes and to let us see Your desire for us. That we may know Your glory in time of trail. Lord help us to see the needs of others and be willing to reach out as You would lead. Father we thank You that You provide for all Your children according to Your riches in glory. You alone are worthy to be praised. In Jesus name we lift these things up to You. Amen

I am God's work in progress. God's word says "be holy as I am holy." The only way to accomplish this is to turn our lives over to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I have found that this is a learning process but begins with a real desire to know Him. My prayer is Lord keep me on your paths of righteousness bringing glory and honor to your name.
