What does love look like?
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
Romans 5:7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die.
Romans 5:8 BUT God demonstrates His own love toward us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.
John 8:29 And He who sent Me is with Me. The Father has not left Me alone, for I always do those things that please Him.
John 14:15 If you love Me keep My commandments.
John 4:23 Jesus answered and said to him. “If anyone loves Me he will keep My word; and My Father will love him and We will come to him and make Our Home with him.
Matthew 22:36-40 Teacher which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said to him “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it. You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.”
James 2:14-17 What does it profit my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works is dead.
James 4:17 Therefore, to him, who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.
Jesus died on the cross to save us. Jesus forgives our sins when we come to Him in truth. Jesus gives us the Holy Spirit to be our guide, our comforter, our Spirit of Truth to teach us all things Jesus gives.

Love your enemies?
Do what is good and right even if its uncomfortable?
Lord, I thank You that You know us so well. Every good, every spot, and every scar. Thank You that You are long suffering and patient with us. Lord lead us in Your paths of righteousness. Lord, may we may overcome our selfishness. In Jesus name amen,
