Mercy:

Romans 7:21-22 I find then a law that evil is present with me, the one who wills to do good. For I delight in the Law of God according to the inward man.

Proverbs 10:12 Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all sin.

Proverbs 10:23 To do evil is like sport to a fool, but a man of understanding has wisdom.

Proverbs 11:9 The hypocrite with his mouth destroys his neighbor, but through knowledge the righteous will be delivered.

Proverbs 12:1 Whoever loves instruction, love knowledge, but he who hates correction is stupid.

Proverbs 12:15 The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but he who heeds counsel is wise.

Proverbs 12:17 He who speaks truth declares righteousness, but a false witness deceit.

Proverbs 12:20 Deceit is in the heart of those who devise evil, but counselors of peace have joy.

Matthew 12:25 But Jesus knew their thoughts, and said to them: “every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided will not stand.

Colossians 4:5-6 Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time. Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.

Colossians 3:8 But now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth.

Ephesians 4:26-5:2 Be angry and do not sin, do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil. Let him who stole steel no longer, but rather let him; labor with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give to him who has need. Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for edification that it may impart grace to the hearers, and do not grieve the Holy spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice, and be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you. Therefore be imitators of God as dear children and walk in love, as Christ also loved us and gave Himself for us, an offering and sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling aroma.

Ephesians 5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them.

Isaiah 5:20 Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.

Matthew 6:14-15 For if you forgive men their trespasses your heavenly Father will forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Matthew 7:1-2 Judge not that you may not be judged. For with what judgement you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.

Proverbs 10:19 In a multitude of words sin is not lacking, but he who restrains his lips is wise.

Matthew 12:36 But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgement.

Lord I thank You for Your mercy! Lord please forgive us our idle words. Lord, hear our prayer set a guard, O Lord, over my mouth, keep watch over the door of my lips and my pen. Do not incline my heart to any evil thing. Let the righteous strike me it shall be a kindness and let him rebuke me it shall be as excellent oil, let my head receive it. Thank You Lord for the work You have done in Your people. Please help us at this time of trial to keep our words in truth and love reaching out to those in pain to seek and to save. Only by Your grace and mercy on us can we do this. Lord let Your mercy rein in us. In Jesus name amen.

I am God's work in progress. God's word says "be holy as I am holy." The only way to accomplish this is to turn our lives over to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I have found that this is a learning process but begins with a real desire to know Him. My prayer is Lord keep me on your paths of righteousness bringing glory and honor to your name.
