My People

2 Chronicles 7:14 If My PEOPLE WHO ARE CALLED BY MY NAME will humble THEMSELVES, and pray and seek My face, and turn from THEIR wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive THEIR sin and heal THEIR land.

Look closely and think. This says My people, called by My name, their sin, their land. What it doesn’t say is the worlds sin, those who don’t believe in Me. What are we really thinking when we quote this verse? Are we thinking?

Psalm 26:2 Examine me, O Lord, and prove me; try my mind and my heart.

Psalm 139:23-24 Search me, O God, and know my heart; try me, and know my anxieties; and see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

Or are we saying?

Luke 18:11-12 The pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God I thank You that I am not like other men, extortioners, unjust, adulters, or even as this tax collector. I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all I possess.

Matthew 7:5 Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brothers eye.

Let us be like the tax collector in our prayers Lord, in Jesus name.

Luke 18:13 And the tax collector, standing a far off, would not even raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast saying ‘God be merciful to me a sinner!’

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Thank You Jesus:

Psalm 16:10 For You will not leave my soul in shoel, nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption.

Abba, You sent Your Son the Holy One and He lives to intercede for Your people. Blessed be our Lord, King, and Savior forever and ever. For there is nothing good in me except You.

I am God's work in progress. God's word says "be holy as I am holy." The only way to accomplish this is to turn our lives over to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I have found that this is a learning process but begins with a real desire to know Him. My prayer is Lord keep me on your paths of righteousness bringing glory and honor to your name.
