Matthew 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of God.

Where there is smoke there is fire. If we always speak the truth then we don’t have to remember the lie.
2 Corinthians 11:13-15 13 for such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. 14) and no wonder! for satan himself transforms himself into an angle of light. 15) therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.
Matthew 7:16 You will know them by their fruits (work, words, actions). Do men gather grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles?
Matthew 7:20 Therefore by their fruits (words, works, actions) you will know them.
Psalm 141:3-4 Set a guard, Oh Lord, over my mouth; keep a watch over the door of my lips. 4 do not incline my heart to any evil thing, to practice wicked works with men who work iniquity; and do not let me eat of their delicacies.
Psalm 34:4 I sought the Lord, and He heard me and delivered me from all my fears.
Lord in Jesus name I come to You. You alone know me and every mistake I have made and will make, every word even before it is on my lips. In the world of confusion and lies Lord I ask that You keep Your hand upon me and set that watch at my lips; but even more a watch on what comes into my mind and give me good discernment on what is true. Let my reactions be slowed so I may look for Your fruits and call good, good and evil, evil there is six things You hate seven that are an abomination.
Proverbs 6:16-19 1 a proud look, 2 a lying tongue 3 hands that shed innocent blood, 4 a heart that devises wicked plans, 5 feet that are swift in running to evil, 6 a false witness who speaks lies 7 one who sows discord among brethren.
Lord help me to always wait on You; for we know You know all things and You alone keep us from falling.
